I don’t quite remember the exact commands I used, as it was more than a month ago, but I definitely used this page as a cheatsheet: http://www.brendangregg.com/perf.html
I think I first used perf in a top
mode, pointing it to my process of interest (falcon_worker)
Then I did perf record
for the same process for about a minute, during which I ran some workloads, to make sure the process is doing something. That generated a .data file, which I then inspected using perf report
